Here we have a new installment of Worship Tutorials featuring “Alive” by Hillsong Young & Free! Not very guitar heavy, but the parts you do have give the song some shape and some funky shuffling is in there as well to give it some pop-dance vibes. This song is in the originally key of E and features structure guides to help differentiate the parts.
I am using my first stage (low gain) overdrive, a hall reverb preset, and a touch of delay for some slap backs. I prefer a telecaster to get the high end twang for the shuffling.
