AN HONEST YEAR

What a year it has been for me as a musician, as a person, as a Christian. It’s been a year of trials, victories and changes. One thing that has been so new to me was becoming a serious blogger. I’ve always been intrigued by those who have the knowledge and time to produce wonderful pieces of work and have their work viewed by many. Hats off to those who have been doing this for many years and have earned any kind of success for their hard work.

Now, what does that say for An Honest Sound? We are still building our presence online through Instagram and Twitter and seeing some great responses to what I have to offer. I am so grateful for those who have jumped onboard and supported this project for the past 4 months. I remember talking with my wife, feeling motivated by God to start a blog to help those with potential to be the best that they can be on a worship team, no matter the funds or talent they may think that they lack. I was nervous, and bouncing back and forth ideas with my wife and how to launch the website and social media accounts, going back and forth with names. 

FUN FACT: My wife dubbed this project “An Honest Sound”. She captured my heart for this in the perfect words. Thanks love.

From there we moved forward. 4 months later, I’m still pushing with a drive to elevate my services to you all and help in any shape or form to push you to where God may be calling you. So many things I have in my head that I can’t wait to get out. Guest articles, an occasional vlog, demonstrations involving live performances, so much more. Let 2016 come!

Just some news for you, this will be my last blog for the month and the year with one more “Song of The Week” feature next Thursday, 12/22. We have Christmas next week and New Year’s Eve the following week. So blogs will pick up again January 7th 2016. I will still have some activity on Instagram and Twitter, so I will still be floating around perhaps posting a few board features and sharing what you guys got for Christmas.
