This week’s Song of The Week is such a powerhouse. “For The Cross” perfectly describes the purpose and sacrifice that Jesus gave for us. What a friend and what a savior we have in Him.
The musical elements in this song bring such a royal and mighty feeling when singing about the risen King. Then, in comes Jenn Johnson’s powerful voice when introducing the moment the Son of God rose. Hats off to Bethel Music for writing such a song that I can easily surrender in worship with.
