Being 16 years old and hearing Jad Gillies lead “Kingdom Come” off of UNITED’s United We Stand, was a bit of a breakthrough for me. Then listening to other song such as “Stronger’ and ‘You Hold Me Now” really challenged me to become a better male vocal and to use my voice more as an instrument.
His freedom and fluidity gives me chills and moves me as I feel the spirit of God fall over me. His range really shifts the atmosphere and to this day I’m so moved by any song he leads. Jad Gillies and one for the ages.
